Today, I want to re-validate my windows 7 using Microsoft windows genuine checker. Unfortunately, during the process I got an error code 0x80070422 Windows 7 and process validate stop. I turn on the Windows Firewall and re-run windows genuine check, but I still got the problem. Perhaps, it is caused by over optimized by turn off some windows service.

After googling, I found the solution for this issue. I’ll shows you how to do it,

How to Fix Error code 0x80070422 Windows 7

1. Open Notepad
2. Copy following text and paste to notepad

sc config wuauserv start= auto
sc config bits start= auto
sc config DcomLaunch start= auto
net stop wuauserv
net start wuauserv
net stop bits
net start bits
net start DcomLaunch

Click File, click Save As, and then type Repair.bat. PS: In the Save as type box, click All Files (*.*).

3. Right-click the Repair.bat file that you saved in step 2, and then click Run as administrator. This action starts the required services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
4. Try to install the updates again. If you can install the updates, delete the Repair.bat file.
5. And now to run windows genuine check and it works.
